The one time I will support Bret Michaels

"The Apprentice", as a tv show, I never really watched much. When "Celebrity Apprentice" started earlier this year, I caught several episodes and was intrigued. Mostly to see how stars such as Goldberg and former Nickelodeon host of "Figure it Out" Summer Sanders  would handle making business related decisions!

Sadly, the person who I wanted to win (Blagojevich) got booted off early into the season, and then I lost interest. I realize there is something inherently evil about rooting for a former corrupt politician who happens to be computer illiterate, but hey, that made watching the show that much more entertaining!

Bret Michaels, if you didn't know, ended up having a brain hemorrhage but ultimately beat out every other competitor on Trump's show. Somewhere on the path to victory, and I'm assuming prior to the brain injury, he had to work with Snapple for one of the Celebrity Apprentice episodes and helped devise what has become my new favorite diet drink:

The flavor is called "Trop A Rocka". Don't let the bad copywriting fool you, this stuff tastes marvelous. Think Hawaiian Punch meets mango tea. It is bound to excited the tongues of women and men alike everywhere, who will resort to describing the taste with the cliché "It's like a party in my mouth!"

Yes, Bret Michaels has been kind of lax when it comes to doing stuff (When did that song about roses and thorns come out again?) but by golly, he's gone and created another hit! It's better than anything Arizona Tea makes, which is surprising considering they have been around for years and refuse to make any other diet tea drinks other than the green one with the Asian art on the can.

So thank you, Bret. You have inspired hope in millions of beverage drinkers worldwide who didn't think diet tea could come in a flavor other than sub-par!
