It's official. There is a Total Rock, Total Rewards 2010 tournament this year.
"What?!" you might be asking yourself. Yeah, you just had a WTF moment, that's what happened. You're looking at the biggest, fanciest, and best Rock Band tournament around.
The thing is sponsored by Harrah's and Harmonix, and this year is going to be even crazier than last year. And last year's was pretty crazy. As someone who made it all the way to the national finals, I surely can attest to that!
Their website has all the information you'll need to sign up and pick a venue which will serve as your battleground. The highest scoring band at each venue will be flown to Atlantic City, New Jersey for the final in July. There, they'll get to compete for $10,000 and the title of best rockers. If you do happen to make it, I would recommend not getting any philly cheesesteak sandwiches while traversing the boardwalk. I figured, hey, I'm not that far from Philly, these should be pretty authentic! Yeah, no.
The most authentic stuff you're going to find there are freshly bootlegged dvd's for sale on the street. But hey, you wanted to see Iron Man 2, right?
